今天，利兹市最不卫生的食品商家被曝光。
在利兹市，现有28家餐馆、外卖店和商铺的食品卫生评分为零，这一数据由利兹城市委员会的环境卫生检查员提供。

市中心的两家餐馆包括位于电气大厦的Peachy Keens印度自助餐厅，该餐厅在6月份接受了检查，以及位于约克广场的Miah’s Kitchen，该餐厅则是在5月份接受的检查。
零评分的商家将成为利兹城市委员会检查员的重点关注对象，以确保卫生标准得到改善。
Peachy Keens和Miah’s Kitchen均未对此发表评论。
食品标准局(FSA)的评分体系从零到五，得分五的商家被评为最安全、最干净和最好的。
在利兹市，目前有164家商铺的评分为一，意味着需要进行‘重大改进’，这些中有69家是外卖店和34家是餐馆。
在评分为一的餐馆中，包括最近在Chapel Allerton开张的Boss Burgers，据说在9月8日接受了检查，还有在今年3月接受检查的The Greedy Pig。
Boss Burgers的董事Adam Ketteringham表示，他们正在对该评分提出上诉，并称这家餐厅使用与其它两家在哈罗盖特和海丁利的五颗星级餐厅相同的程序。
他说：“我们完全不同意这个决定。我们的其他两个地点都拥有五颗星评级，使用的程序相同。我们认为当地政府的检查存在不一致。”
The Greedy Pig的老板Joanna Myers表示，他们的餐馆是干净的，每天都买新鲜的食材，但他们的文件记录——如冰箱和烤箱的温度记录——在检查时不够完善。
她说：“我们人手不足，确实有一些工作没做到，其中之一就是记录。我们知道这是错误的，但是我们已经纠正了。检查员将给我们几个月的时间来展示我们已经维持了改进，然后再回来重新评估。”
不过，在利兹市，大多数食品相关业务现在的评级处于最高标准，达到五级，意味着其食品卫生状态‘非常好’。

利兹市委员会的一位发言人表示：“我们的环境卫生官员是幕后监督的眼睛和耳朵，定期检查厨房，以便您可以在预订前查看评级。”
“对于任何食品商家而言，保持场所清洁和食品管理实践到位是明智的商业决定，因为顾客会更倾向于选择那些高标准的餐厅。”

食品标准局的一位发言人表示：“食品卫生评级制度在地方当局检验食品商家的卫生标准时扮演重要角色。这对消费者而言至关重要，因为它允许他们选择那些具有良好卫生评级的商家，同时避免那些未达到标准的商家。”
“在线和智能手机上轻松寻找最新的评级信息，花费时间不超过一分钟，我们确实鼓励食品商家在店面展示评级，并在广告中使用这些数据。实际上，评分较高的商家表示这对他们的业务是有利的。”
“90%以上的食品商家评级为3或更高，所以可供选择的商家众多。”
根据目前在食品标准局网站上列出的检查数据和评级，信息有效时为写作时的内容。
评级定期更新，许多商家可能正在等待地方政府检查员的复查。
